The cloud knows no limits – and the cloud is increasingly becoming the new standard in Europe too. Bitkom’s and
KPMG’s Cloud Monitor records that 82 percent of all companies in Germany are in the cloud. By 2025, they want to
have more than half of their workloads there.
And yet many of the companies – including those that have already introduced public clouds such as AWS – still see
challenges: Just under half (46%) of those who have not yet adopted the cloud fear unauthorized access to sensitive company data. In addition, companies that have adopted the cloud report challenges in implementing security and compliance requirements. Are security and compliance still the “cloud showstoppers”? AWS offers a wealth of security services on its platform that can be used to solve many security and compliance challenges. Yes, a sure instinct is required for the design of suitable solutions. Every cloud environment is unique and the consideration of existing third-party solutions requires a high level of integration expertise. Because only integrated solutions help users to leverage the full potential of AWS. With this in mind, AWS security is becoming a business factor of the future
