The purpose of the study is to demonstrate the economic value of BCM when dealing with data breach incidents.
The BCM study has been conducted over four consecutive years and during this period the research has consistently shown the following trends when companies have incorporated BCM into their data breach response:
- Decreases the time to identify the data breach
- Decreases the time to contain the data breach
Decreases the likelihood of a future breach.
