Ransomware is one of the most widely discussed cybersecurity threats. However, there is a scarcity of research on the experiences of organizations that have been victims of ransomware attacks. Sapio Research Ltd, an independent research firm, surveyed 200 IT decision-makers whose organizations experienced a ransomware attack between 2019 and 2021 for this report. All of this emphasizes the importance of organizations focusing more on ensuring they can recover quickly and easily from an attack without having to pay a ransom. This report also offers suggestions for how IT leaders can do so.
