Solvo, a provider of adaptive cloud infrastructure security solutions, announced the general release of Data Posture Manager, its new public cloud data and infrastructure management solution.

Data Posture Manager is meant to provide greater visibility over cloud components and users with access to critical data. The solution notifies businesses of excessive or newly obtained rights and provides:

  • One-click, real-time repair of security policy breaches
  • Assists security teams in combating overload, exhaustion and lack of resources

75% of security failures, according to Solvo, are caused by insufficient identity and access configurations. Sensitive data is frequently kept in different cloud settings, comes into touch with many users and cloud entities and is discovered in unexpected, susceptible locations. Solvo’s Data Posture Manager is intended to address the problem by revealing dangerous cloud permissions – to inform which entities have access to sensitive data at any given point in time.

The platform ranks results according to their risks, vulnerabilities and commercial impact. It is claimed that the platform is the first to combine runtime application analysis, infrastructure security, and data posture management to support research and development, DevOps and the Security Teams. The objective is to safeguard enterprises from cloud misconfigurations, data loss and security breaches.

Shira Shamban, the Co-founder and the Chief Executive of Solvo, said, “Our mission is to empower organizations to innovate at cloud speed and scale by supporting chief information security officers and security teams in preventing data exposure and risk. Data Posture Manager brings visibility, governance, prioritization and remediation capabilities to ensure that data resources are protected from unauthorized entities across all cloud environments and vulnerabilities on computing assets that can affect the data resources.”

According to Crunchbase, Solvo has raised $11 million in venture capital funding from Surround Ventures and TLV Partners. Shamban was formerly the initiative lead for data at Dome9 Security Inc., now a Check Point Software Technologies Inc subsidiary.
