Resilience, a cybersecurity risk management startup, recently revealed its acquisition of incident response firm BreachQuest Inc. for an undisclosed sum. With this strategic move, Resilience strengthens security measures, reinforcing its commitment to safeguarding against cyber threats.

Established in 2012 as Arceo Labs Inc., BreachQuest provides an incident response platform for rapid data collection and analysis. The platform delivers comprehensive readiness and response capabilities, offering first responders visibility into the timing and location of a breach from start to finish.

Integrating seamlessly into cloud office systems, the BreachQuest platform offers invaluable insights for incident forensics, facilitating swift incident response efforts, reducing containment time, and lowering incident costs.

The company asserts that its Priori Platform revolutionizes visibility by continuously monitoring systems to identify malicious activity promptly. Through continuous monitoring, the Priori Platform offers immediate insights into detected threats and compromised endpoints during an attack, enabling nearly real-time response and containment efforts. The platform gathers and analyzes breach data, empowering responders to react promptly and ensure efficient, cost-effective recovery processes.

Resilience plans to leverage BreachQuest’s capabilities to bolster its claims management team and enhance its ability to address cyber incidents more effectively.

Before the announcement, BreachQuest CEO and Co-founder Shaun Gordon said, “Resilience shares our mission in helping improve a client’s cyber resilience and lowering the impact of costly cyber incidents.”
