Israel based cybersecurity firm CYE Ltd. acquired Solvo’s technology of cloud security and infrastructure for an undisclosed price. Solvo provides adaptive cloud infrastructure security solutions.

Through this acquisition, CYE gains access to Solvo’s technology for cloud security posture management and cloud infrastructure entitlement management. These capabilities will enhance CYE’s Hyber platform by providing greater visibility into customers’ cloud assets and addressing configuration issues and security gaps.

Solvo’s Cloud Security Posture Management solution is designed to continuously monitor and manage cloud environments, identifying misconfigurations, compliance risks, and security vulnerabilities. It helps organizations detect and remediate threats such as excessive permissions, exposed storage, and unencrypted data, reducing the risk of breaches in hybrid and multicloud environments.

The technology focuses on managing identity and access permissions across cloud platforms, enforcing the least privilege access. By analyzing user behavior, resource entitlements, and policy configurations, it helps organizations prevent unauthorized access, mitigate insider threats, and maintain compliance with security best practices.

CYE plans to integrate Solvo’s capabilities into its offerings, enabling businesses to continuously strengthen their cloud security posture, minimize risk, and protect assets across hybrid and multicloud environments. The enhanced solutions will also benefit CYE’s channel partners, expanding its market reach and delivering greater value to customers worldwide.

“As cloud adoption continues to accelerate, often with more than one cloud service provider, so does the scale of cybersecurity vulnerabilities and potential misconfigurations,” said Reuven Aronashvili, Founder and Chief Executive of CYE. “The acquisition of Solvo’s technology adds native cloud-based considerations into organizational context to prioritize cloud weaknesses as part of our continuous exposure management platform.”

CYE is a venture-backed startup that has secured USD 120 million in funding, including a USD 100 million round in February 2021. Its investors include the European private equity firm EQT AB and venture capital firm 83North Ltd.
