Cybersixgill, a company that provides data on cyberthreat intelligence, announced launching Cybersixgill IQ, a new generative artificial intelligence program that will rethink the concept of cyberthreat intelligence.
Cybersixgill IQ is based on significant intelligence data from Cybersixgill, officially known as SixGill Inc., including deep and dark web sources, allowing users of varying security maturity levels to access and profit from cyberthreat intelligence, or CTI. According to Cybersixgill, AI in the new service handles a variety of user profiles and cybersecurity issues, enabling quicker reactions to cyberattacks and enhancing operational effectiveness.
According to the firm, its AI service differs from other generative AI cybersecurity solutions as it uses AI in all its features rather than only relying on simple interfaces with OpenAI LP’s ChatGPT.
With data and insights tailored to their organization’s unique challenges and use cases, Cybersixgill’s generative AI intelligently reacts to client inquiries. The result is said to be a solution that can produce a variety of outputs, including detailed forensic event reports for detection and response teams, vulnerability exposure evaluations for managed service providers, and high-level threat summaries for C-level executives.
Cybersixgill IQ effectively integrates into existing CTI workflows through its portal or application programming interface, increasing and enriching the company’s dark web insights. Additionally, access to threat intelligence and the insights it offers are transformed in several ways by the generative AI tool.
By transforming raw tactical intelligence, which was previously only accessible to seasoned CTI analysts, into summaries that are simple to understand and contextually rich for all cybersecurity experts, the AI tool has made CTI largely accessible. According to the company, the tool uses AI to quickly produce final intelligence that is customized to each organization’s particular industry, geography, user persona, and business requirements.
By providing insights via a threat intelligence chatbot, a context-specific assistant, or the Cybersixgill site, the tool further redefines how users interact with CTI and frees them from having to learn how the system works to address essential intelligence requests. According to this theory, maximizing value would need less time and effort.
Gabi Reish, Chief Business Development and Product Officer at Cybersixgill, said, “AI is only as good as the data that feeds it. In cybersecurity, real value and direction in AI come from access to the broadest, deepest data lake of underground threat intelligence, which we provide.”
